IHK President Reappointed to the Board of IHK NRW

Elmar te Neues Confirmed as Vice President of IHK NRW

Elmar te Neues, President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Mittlerer Niederrhein, has been confirmed in his role as Vice President of IHK NRW, the umbrella organization of the Chambers of Industry and Commerce in North Rhine-Westphalia. He will continue to serve on the board of IHK NRW for another four years.

“Especially in these economically challenging times, it is crucial that the IHK organization represents the interests of our businesses at the state, federal, and local levels,” said te Neues following his re-election. “Our companies need effective economic stimulus measures and a strengthening of the competitiveness of our location to overcome the current period of weakness and to embrace structural change – that is what we will work for.”

Also re-elected to the board of IHK NRW were: President Ralf Stoffels (Südwestfälische IHK zu Hagen), and Vice Presidents Heinz-Herbert Dustmann (IHK zu Dortmund), Stefan Hagen (IHK Bonn/Rhein-Sieg), and Jörn Wahl-Schwentker (IHK Ostwestfalen zu Bielefeld).
